Full service or self-managed? There’s a third option.

Hybrid management.  It’s the solution that provides responsive support and low costs for HOAs.

We talk to so many volunteer board members who are frustrated that they’re not getting what they’re paying for with their current management. And others who feel like their board service is a full time job.

With hybrid management, the professional manager will take up the work of financial management, communication, record keeping, and more, while the board and community handle issues on the ground.

You stay in control of what’s happening in your community.  We save you the time, uncertainty, and liability of running a business.

But that’s not all.

If there’s one thing all board members have in common…it’s QUESTIONS! Running an HOA takes experience and knowledge of so many areas. How to interpret and stay in compliance with bylaws. Budgeting and understanding financial reports. Insurance and association liabilities. Responsibilities of board members and owners. Staying up to date with new legislation.

Your board will have access to resources for these common issues and more. Plus communication tools to keep things professional and respectful with your owners. We’ve got your back!

Are you paying for things you’re doing yourself?

Like so many service experiences in our world, things have changed in the service level that small HOAs are getting from management. You may be experiencing slow (or no!) responses, turnover, and increased fees. Volunteer leaders are scrambling to cover essentials that the HOA is paying for. Why pay for what you’re doing yourself?

What about maintenance?

Yes, MicroHOA will provide systems to help you plan and manage maintenance and architectural review. You are responsible for the maintenance of your homes…just as all homeowners are.

We will work with your contractors and service providers---more trusted, more affordable, and directly connected to you. We will protect your vendor relationships with prompt payments and communication, and protect the HOA with insurance and tax reporting for vendors.

Does hybrid management provide on-site inspections?

Owner compliance with community rules is a hybrid effort. It’s expensive to have on-site inspection service, and this is one way that MicroHOA keeps those costs low.  Even with a full service management company, the review and decision on how to act on any violations comes to the board anyway.  Again, why pay for what you’re seeing and reporting anyway?

MicroHOA helps boards establish clear and enforceable violation policies, and implements rules enforcement by communicating violations, levying fines, maintaining records, and helping boards with violation situations.

Do you answer homeowner questions?

Yes, we field homeowner questions about accounts, payment questions, resale/refi documentation, and how to get answers they need through the portal.  Other owner questions are routed to board members for their interpretation and response on community issues. All communication stays out of your personal email and in the community portal, where it belongs.

With hybrid management, you stay in control of your community, and will have responsive, resourced support.
